It is a small, quiet server. Updates get posted there first and bug reports reach me directly. Anything new gets shown and picked apart before it ships. If you only do one thing, do this one.
Join the DiscordThere are test builds running on both stores. They get updates before everyone else does. They can also be rough round the edges, which is rather the point.
New features get discussed here before they are built. Test builds get announced here when they go out. Worth joining even if you never install a test build.
Join the DiscordOpt in on Google Play and your normal install quietly updates to the test build. You can leave again at any time from the same page.
Opt in on Google PlayTest builds run through TestFlight, Apple's free testing app. Install TestFlight from the App Store first, then tap join.
Join on TestFlightThat is what they are for. If something goes wrong, say so in Discord and it usually gets fixed within a day or two.
Test builds use the same save as the normal game. Even so, take a backup before you opt in. Settings has Backup to File and Copy Recovery Code. Both take a few seconds. See Help.
Opt out on the same page you opted in on, then reinstall the normal version. Your progress stays where it is.
